Product Merchandiser
- We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Product Merchandiser to join our growing team based at at Lovaan HQ in Melbourne, Victoria.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organised numbers person who will work closely alongside the buying and design functions to ensure planning for success.
- This is a freelance contractor role for 3-4 days per week with scope to grow into a permanent role.
- The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years experience in a similar role in a retail business.
The role will include tasks such as:
- Providing a range framework to the buying and design team
- Forecasting sales projections and P&L
- Managing the company’s critical path to ensure deadlines are planned and met
- Driving planning initiatives to ensure healthy stock and fabric levels are maintained
- Liaising with suppliers on raising POs and intakes
- Working closely with design and sales teams on planning tools to support healthy margins
- Leading weekly trade updates, providing key sales metrics and observations
Quality Control Technician
- We are seeking an experienced Quality Control technician to join our growing team at Lovaan HQ in Melbourne, Victoria.
- The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, be organised and have strong communication skills.
- This is a freelance contractor role for 1-2 days per week, with scope to grow into a permanent role.
- The ideal candidate should have 3+ years experience in a similar role in a retail business.
The role will include tasks such as:
- QC checks on incoming samples before fit sessions
- Working with the production manager to clearly and in a timely manner communicate fit comments to suppliers
- Monitor and approve grading rules across suppliers
- Manage any QC issues on bulk production, working closely with the distribution centre
- Working closely with the production and design team to ensure consistency of fit and quality
Junior Product Designer
- We are seeking a creative and skilled womenswear Designer to join our growing team at Lovaan HQ in Melbourne, Victoria.
- The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and driven, with a strong sense of vision and the ability to execute end-to-end product design.
- This is a freelance contractor role for 3-4 days per week, with scope to grow into a permanent role.
- The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years experience in a similar role in a retail business.
The role will include tasks such as:
- Developing innovative ranges and creative, unique designs in line with the brand vision
- Trend research and analysis
- Tech-packing and strong supplier communication
- Attending fit sessions
- Owning the design critical path to keep accountable to deadlines
- Visual communications such as range plans and look-books
Internships
- We are seeking passionate individuals who are interested in pursuing student internships at Lovaan.
- If you are looking to learn first-hand what the day-to-day looks like at a fast-paced, growing local brand with a focus on beautifully designed womenswear, then we would love to hear from you.
- The internship will be based at Lovaan HQ in Melbourne, Victoria. We can offer flexible placements to work around study and other work, ideally for 1-2 days each week.
- During your placement, your contributions will help support our head office teams by completing design, buying and sales tasks.
