Last Lovaan production trip, we visited the flower and fruit markets in New Delhi.
It was over Diwali, one of the most widely celebrated festivals in India, marking the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. People often celebrate Diwali by decorating their homes, and at the flower market, bunches upon bunches of marigolds light up stalls as the flower of choice for celebration.
It’s hard to describe the intensity of the colours, smells, textures and life there. It’s beyond vibrant. If you’re ever in Delhi, don’t miss a visit to these extraordinary markets.
1. Marigolds ready for homes.
2. Green fruit and veg from the market.
3. A vibrant fresh fruit stall in market.
