Some of our team is heading to London soon, and we’re looking forward to catching RA’s annual summer exhibition before it ends. With over 1,700 works of art, it's either a hoarder's dream or an art lover's paradise. It also offers seasoned collectors and aspiring art buyers a good chance to buy, whether you’re looking for a pocket-sized print or a wall-spanning painting.
NGV Friday Nights: Pharaoh in Melbourne

Ever wondered what it's like to party with pharaohs? NGV's winter night series lets you roam through 3000 years of Egyptian history to live music featuring sounds from Africa and the Middle East. Picture a captivating history lesson meets dance party, with a dash of Indiana Jones thrown in for good measure.
Alphonse Mucha: Spirit of Art Nouveau at the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney

If you’ve ever swooned over swirling, ethereal illustrations on vintage posters, chances are you’re an Alphonse Mucha fan. Tyler Mitchell at C/O Berlin

You might recognise Tyler’s deliciously crisp photographs from fashion magazines. He made history as the first black photographer to shoot a Vogue cover (Beyonce for the September issue, nonetheless) at just 23 years old. The photography gallery C/O Berlin presents the first solo exhibition of the American photographer in Germany. Titled ‘Wish This Was Real’, it offers fresh perspectives on self-determination, everyday radiance and imagined futures.
Eva Jospin, The Silk Room at the Palace of Versailles in Paris

While Olympic fever grips Paris, slip away to Versailles for a different kind of marathon. French artist Eva Jospin’s 107-metre embroidery, inspired by Roman palaces and Virginia Woolf, offers a meditative journey through art and architecture. It’s an extremely long tapestry in an extremely fancy palace—what’s not to love?
